What is the role of academics at a time when we are facing increasing polarization of society? How can universities protect freedom of thought and expression? And what is our responsibility as members of the academic community?
Come and discuss these questions at a panel discussion that will take place on November 1, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Patriotic Hall of Charles University. Vice-rector Jan Kuklík will give the opening speech, and the panelists will include Ondřej Císař, Zora Hesová, Hana Kubátová, Martin Potůček, Helena Langšádlová, Jan Konvalinka and Jan Trka.
