About event
🔵 Imagine if you could track your own thoughts exactly, when you focus, when you start to lose focus and even reveal how we sometimes lie to ourselves. This superpower is called metacognition.
What is metacognition?
How to develop it?
What is it good for?
How to grasp it in everyday life at school?
These are also questions that we will ask ourselves during the webinar. We will also look at metacognition from the point of view of the teacher's practice and talk about practical tips on how to include it in regular pedagogical practice.
In the webinar, however, you will also learn:
👉 that thinking means not being satisfied with the first answer , which our mind offers us
👉 how to help students better understand themselves
👉 how to support students to be able to answer questions like "What helps me learn better?", "When do I learn well?", "When do I enjoy learning and when at all?"
👩🏫 The guests of the webinar will be the laureate of the Public Prize and the Prize of Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia for the year 2023 within the framework of the Teacher Personality of Slovakia award Eva Radičová and lecturer and mentor RCPU Zvolen-Detva-Krupina Lýdia Šuchová.
During the entire webinar, you can ask questions.
This webinar is being prepared by the Comenius Institute, its program manager Zuzana Labašová will talk to the guests.
