😎 Come to us next Friday, November 15 in the morning to see how science 🔬 helps in practice.
👉 Two interesting lectures await you, a physical fitness competition ♀️ 🏃 for our T-shirt and a guided tour of the Center for Physical Activity.
👉 Virologist Viki Čabanová will talk about the first nationwide monitoring of viruses West Nile virus and Usutu virus in mosquitoes 🦟 in Slovakia and will also demonstrate a mosquito trap.
👉 Richard Imrich will present an engaging story of how Slovak scientists contributed to the invention of a cure for the rare metabolic disease alkaptonuria, for which Slovakia has the most patients in the world. 😮
👉 The event takes place as part of Science and Technology Week 2024 in the building of the BMC SAV Institute of Virology in the SAV campus on Patrónka from 9:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. and is intended for the general public.
