About event
how are you | Friday, October 17 at 6:00 p.m. | Christiania
A banal question that we often exchange when meeting friends. It can be just a conversational phrase, but it can also be a sign of a deeper interest in a person. According to some estimates, the Roma minority in Slovakia has around 450,000 members. Have you ever asked a Roma how he is doing? Have you ever wondered how Roma people really live? What do they have to contend with? Why isn't a dignified position in society or equal chances a matter of course for many of them even today? We will discuss how the Roma in Slovakia are doing and what we need to work on in order to write a successful story together with Klára Orgovánová and Barbora Botošová. Moderated by Peter Medviď.
The event is realized with the financial support of the Fund for the Support of the Culture of National Minorities.
