About event
This year's series of creative music workshops in Brdárka will be completed by an interactive workshop of talented Dominika Gurbaľová about the creation of songs. We cordially invite everyone who likes to sing. Participants will learn both illustrative and playful ways how the song is created by Dominica, and will have the opportunity to create their own song on the spot (individually or group). It has the potential for the unique synthesis of improvisation and authorial expression. The concert will also include a commented tour of the Brdar Renaissance-Baroque church from 1696, in which the concert will take place.

You can look forward to a demonstration of Dominik's author's work and its improvisation of a new song at the moment. We will tell you how to start practically creating a song, where to look for inspiration, how to create an atmosphere for looking into yourself - into your heart and how to stimulate the creation of your own song. The conclusion will be a common moment in the authentic melody of the common singing, which will be created on the spot and inspired by the moment, and where every participant will have an opportunity to express their own feelings. The workshop will take place in an individual form in combination with group cooperation and will be interwoven with singing and game. We will complete the music workshop with the evening concert of Dominika with Peter Tóth, where the workshop will create space for a small improvisation and demonstration of what they have learned at the workshop (optional). However, bringing your own musical instrument is not a condition for participation. The price includes lecturer, entrance to the evening concert of Dominika Gurbaľová and Petr Tóth (guitar) in the Brdar church including a commented church show and small refreshments + soft drinks during the workshop. Dominika Gurbaľová is a talented Slovak Worshipová and gospel singer, songwriter and multi -instrumentalist from Košice, who quickly won the hearts of many people throughout Slovakia with her minimalist work and strong, captivating voice.
Her artistic creation is characterized by sincere personal testimonies reflecting her life path and, above all, the depth of her living faith, in which she finds love, hope, freedom, home of her soul and the essence of what transcends us. In his songs, Dominika, through her personal experience, sensitively, in addition to faith, touches on topics such as freedom, self -love, self -esteem, self -esteem, self -confidence. In her words, the attentive listener will also capture eternal truths about the need to listen to his own intuition, truth, the necessity of his own borders and (self) forgiveness as a path to happiness and simple joy of life in the present.
On her account, this young artist has an extremely fertile work - five solo albums and one Christmas album with other members of the extraordinarily talented Gurbaľov family. Dominika has worked with many artists and was part of a number of different projects.
