The Siblings of Children with Disabilities course is an absolute foundation for anyone who deals in any way with families in which there is a child with a disability. It is very suitable for professionals such as social workers, teachers, various therapists, assistants, etc., but also for parents of children with disabilities. Mr. Havelka is a very kind, willing and helpful lecturer who is very well versed in the subject and has a broad perspective. During the course, you will come across many topics and you will find that you will use most of them not only when working with special children, but actually with any children. The main thing is open communication and working with emotions, which is so necessary for every child. I myself am a special sibling, and also a mother of two children, one of whom has a major health limitation. I work with the topic and devote myself to it, and yet the course helped me a lot to understand some topics in more depth, to realize the important aspects of caring for special siblings and to name some differences. I gained a lot of inspiration, which I use in education. The course is designed in such a way that it is for complete beginners, but also for people with experience. I highly recommend it.
