About event
In a world that changes faster than ever, we are looking for new ways to understand him. The joint event of the Beseda festival and the Alarm daily will link a live debate on global shocks with music that demolish the boundaries of genres and social bubbles.
From the inauguration of Donald Trump, the world order is shaking in the foundations. Do we follow fads of a bizarre politician, or is it a wider geopolitical change that has the potential to open a brand new chapter of history? These questions will be looking for answers to the live debate of the Alarm daily. It will be mentioned by Jan Bělíček and guests will be political scientist Anna Pospich Durnová and philosopher Pavel Barša. His records are records of fighting with his own doubts and systemic inequalities. His stories can be identified and it doesn't matter if you grew up in the suburbs of Cheb, Brno or in the center of Prague. Want To Feel Safe also says in the name of last year's Anki album and received vinyl for the best album of 2024.
Brno singer Barbora Hora is a great discovery of the domestic scene. Her songs combine the fragility of the expression with the intensity of the statement. At last year's EP Forgotten Garden, Wild Growth, the human mind imagines as a garden that needs to be regularly deprived of weeds of unpleasant thoughts. Barbora Hora gained vinyl nomination as a discovery of the year, both solo and with her home band WHYOHWHY, which moves on the border of Slowcore and Dream Pop. Action:
• 18:30 Doors
• 19:00 Trump debate and New World Order
• 20:45 Barbora Hora with band
• 22:00 Anki
• 23:00 Bernard DJ Set
