About event
Picasso's clouds - Meeting with the author Alberta Basaglia
dialogue with Luciana Degano
The desire to tell the story already well known, but not yet digested by many, of Franco Basaglia, of the liberated mental hospital and of his overcoming, arises from the questions of the little ones and from the attempt to try to retrace already known facts with the eyes and heart of a child, the daughter, to give an original, unique and shameless, that is, that of those who do not yet have superstructures imposed by social rules.
Alberta Basaglia, psychologist, has long been responsible for the Youth Participation and Culture of Peace Service of the Municipality of Venice, where, since 1980, she has led the Women's Center and the Anti-Violence Centre. She has a long experience of working and researching on issues related to the fight against gender violence and all forms of discrimination.
