Album Release: In De Naam Van ~ Saartje Van Camp

🎻 In the name of
Saartje van Camp makes Dutch -language pop music with texts and melodies that seem to come from a very own world. A world between everything. Between the self -evident and the strange. Between what is and what could have been done. Between Flanders where she comes from and the Netherlands where she lives. A concussion, an everyday conversation in a store, standing still in a traffic jam, the silent protest of women dressed in white on a square in Minsk, everything can be a song in the world of Saartje van Camp.

She performs with two special multi-instrumentalists: Dizzi Getha and Judith Rijsenjes. Dizzi is a drummer, percussionist, DJ and theater maker from Sri Lanka. Judith is toetsenist en zangeres en maakt muziek onder de naam Puntjudith.

De muzikanten zingen alle drie en hun muziek bestrijkt een weids landschap van akoestische instrumenten, elektronische klanken en spannende ritmes.
