Carisa Dias, a Luxembourgish singer of Cape Verdean origin. Although this is her first album under her own name, she is far from a newcomer. Music has always played a significant role in her life, and after numerous collaborations with various artists and projects in both Luxembourg and Brussels, she is now ready to step into the spotlight with her own musical creations.
"There For You" is a song that empowers women who often feel isolated in their struggles and challenges. It is dedicated to single mothers, victims of domestic violence, women fighting cancer or other illnesses, and those facing significant difficulties in their relationships. The song conveys an uplifting message of hope.
"Sintonia" was beautifully crafted by Carisa and Mesaro, and produced by MadSuperstar. Its enchanting theme delves into the connection between two individuals who have just crossed paths and explores how they unite through the powerful emotion of love. The carefully composed lyrics are reminiscent of a charming fairy tale, emphasising the magical and captivating experience of falling in love. This fusion piece combines elements of Kizomba, Portuguese Fado, and Cape Verdean Morna, and is delivered in a blend of Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, and English languages.
