One of the most outstanding climbers of today - Alexander Megos - will arrive at the Prague Rock Point store to share his story with you. The lecture will take you through his first expeditions for climbing adventures, which were completely low-budget and were created at the time when he finished his studies and was nowhere near making money from climbing...

Timetable:

• 18:00-20:00 presentation of the Patagonia brand and a lecture by Alexandre Megos (in English)
• The autograph session will take place in the premises of the store in front by lecture
• Registration required, price 100,- (proceeds will go towards the purchase of belay points for re-belaying climbing areas).

Alexander "Alex" Megos

• German professional sport climber and two-time Olympian, one of the absolute best in the world. He has been climbing since he was 6 years old and already completed multi-length trips with his father as a child. In 2013, he was the first person in the world to climb a route of difficulty 9a in the onsight style, i.e. "on the first attempt". For a long time, he has been ranked among the most outstanding personalities of modern sport climbing thanks to his performances on rocks and in competition climbing, and he is also known for his emphasis on style and cleanliness of climbs.

How to reach us:

• The lecture as well as repairs and demonstrations of clothing care will take place on the 3rd floor of the Rock Point Prague store in Havlíčková street, in the historic lecture rooms premises. Come get inspired. Only admission to the lecture by Alex Megos is paid.
• On foot – 5 min. walking distance from Náměstí Republiky
