About event

Educator, designer and curator Alexander Tochilovsky from The Herb Lubalin Study Center of Design & Typography in New York will speak at UMPRUM.

Alexander Tochilovsky's lecture will be about the role of design archives and I question whether they are still of value to contemporary expertise. More importantly, a presentation of what one knows or thinks one knows about the history of typography and design. Models of alternative practice of working with archives and the past of design will also be presented.
