About event
The guest of the Summer Games on the carpet, the last before the holidays, will be Alexandra Múdra — a talented poet, singer, organizer of poetry evenings. Alexandra is a graduate of the interdisciplinary study of teaching Slovak language and literature and English language and literature — currently a doctoral student. So much more formal part of the information.
There is probably no better way to spoil the guest of the evening than by stating that we met on the Igricov stage on the carpet. It was September 2019 and the shy high school graduate read a few of her texts at the end of the evening. I couldn't help but notice her yellow beret and the fact that poetry is in Alexandra's DNA. In the meantime, Alex managed to work as a language editor for the literary magazine Fraktál and publishing house Horská lucerna. Publish in the literary magazine Glosolália, Fraktál, in the Biely list column, on the Knihy na došat portal, but also on Radio Devín and Radio FM. Perform at the LiKE Literary Festival. To participate in several literary competitions, etc... Back to the Games. On the June evening, together with Alex, Michal Mitrík and Andrej Klobušník will be on stage, two gentlemen with guitars, who will gradually complete the backdrop for her singing. Alexandra is talented, mysterious and stubborn enough to sing and read poetry at a time when the reality of things is getting under her fingernails. Maybe just so that the world doesn't lose the illusion of balance.
I invite you to spend a summer recital evening with a cup of tea in the middle of a community of seekers.
Svetozár Šomšák
dramaturge and organizer of games on the carpet
Admission: voluntary.
