Kalyanna, through many years of deep introspection and solitude, came to re-remember herself as a deep, eternal silence or awareness. From this recognition poetry and song became a natural expression.
Kalyanna self-published her first collection of poems this year. She also leads singing circles of a sacred nature weaved with silent pauses and meditation. Her aim is always to guide people to recognise this unchanging, eternal silence of who they really are. A contentment that doesn’t end and isn’t reliant on outside circumstances.
