We invite you to meet the second resident of the ALL IN RESIDENCE / ARTISTS IN TOWN residency series for visual artists.
Lenka Štefanková is a young illustrator with a passion for science fiction and comics. She exhibited at the LUSTR Illustration Festival in Prague, at the Zine Art Exhibition A4 in Bratislava, at the Identification - International youth graphic art exhibition in Ľvov. She designed the visual identity for Amnesty International Slovakia and also the illustrations for the Slovak language textbooks - ABCE EDU. At his presentation, he will present his work and plans for the upcoming residency.
But we already know that in Humenno he will focus on the stories of the city and its inhabitants. In the medium of drawings, he captures places, people and stories that can surprise even the household. Maybe she will be able to reveal new connections and clarify the mysteries that are difficult to bypass our city. He will inform you about everything in an illustrated "zine", a self-published small sheet format that he will write, illustrate and produce during his residency. But he will need you above all for all of this, so come and get to know him.
The event is part of the City of Culture 2024 project, which was supported from public sources by the Art Support Fund.
