Technical death metal in its purest form. Colorado, France and L.A. join forces in the Prague club Black Pes. Get ready for the surgically precise riffs of Allegaeon, the progressive drive of Gorod and the uncompromising pressure of Abysmal Dawn. An absolute must for fans of the genre - already on 22 September in Prague!
The American Allegaeon have developed into the absolute pinnacle of technical melodic death metal in two decades. Their work, defined by records like "Elements of the Infinite" or "Apoptosis", combines frantic speed with unexpected notes of classical guitar and lyrics about science or astronomy. In Prague, they will demonstrate why they are considered masters in connecting brutality with absolute instrumental precision, where every note has its mathematically precise place.
French Gorod are a unique phenomenon within the genre. They bring an incredible groove and jazz playfulness to technical death, which makes them one of the most original bands today. From the cult album "Leading Vision" to the current "The Orb", they constantly push the boundaries of what can be done with a guitar in hand without losing the ability to write a catchy riff. Expect complex structures that will not leave you alone for a second.
Abysmal Dawn from Los Angeles completes the line-up. Compared to their colleagues, their concept of death metal is more straightforward, darker and crushing. Charles Elliott and his band rely on massive sound and structures that refer to the best traditions of the genre, but with a modern, aggressive cut. The record "Phylogenesis" confirmed that it belongs in the first league, and at the Black Pes club they pump this energy into us in full force.
