About event
The Anti.K Hall of the Dejvice Café will welcome the purely female duo of two distinctive musicians moving on the Czech alternative and jazz scene. The sensitive piano of Iva Korger and the emotional singing of Allison Wheeler in the original songs of this creative duo will not leave any listener cold.
Allison Wheeler, composer and innovative singer from California, is a rapidly developing talent on the European scene. She is a "composer with a great sound imagination" (Peter Quinn, JazzWise UK magazine) and a versatile voice with love for creative challenges. Her excellent debut Winterspring met with positive feedback not only in the Czech Republic but also in other European countries.
Iva Korgerová is a pianist and vocalist with a soul of jazz improviser and sensitivity of a songwriter. Together with the American singer Allison Wheeler, the core of the Tour Guide Blonde formation, where their voices and musical approach create a distinctive, dreamy atmosphere with the nose of a naughty grunge. Among other things, the Pitch Bender has been a project, in which she participated in the author with exceptional Slovak singer Sisa Fehér.
