Alok + support: whatever mike

Alok returns to Prague with his one man (in a dress) show and says that life is too short to hate. Artist Whatever Mike will perform as support.

When Alok were in Prague last time, it was a memorable evening full of laughter and serious conversations. Their ideas are hard to oppose, their charisma even harder to resist. You know them from the documentary film ALOK, which was produced by Jodie Foster, but mainly thanks to their performances and books (Za phenysé genderové binarité was also published in Czech). When Hannah Gadsby was shopping Gender Agenda for Netflix, she couldn't leave Alok out. And you can't miss this show. Fashion, humor, manners.

Alok will return to Prague's Divadlo U Hasičů on May 19, 2026.

"They've been writing about me for about ten years that I'm on the rise," says Alok in the successful stand-up Biology. "Then maybe I'll make it at least a rising star in the obituary." However, that's exaggerating - he's already a star, as evidenced by his performance in Jonathan Van Ness's (Queer Eye) show Getting Curious or the Planet of Sex with Cara Delevigne.

To sum up Alok's message in one sentence is actually not that difficult - we're here too short to waste our time on hate. “Are you really going to be mad at someone on your deathbed for what pronouns they used?” asks Alok in Biology, which is executive produced by the legendary comedian Christopher Guest.

And what will you say when they ask you where you were when you needed to defend humor against an army of guys in pants?

The show will be in English without interpretation.
