About event
🎤 Get ready for a nostalgic return to the 80s and dance the night away to hits like "Forever Young," "Big in Japan" or "Dance With Me"! The legendary German group Alphaville celebrated its incredible 40 years of existence some time ago and will be performing at Karlín Forum in Prague on November 14. The group Oceán will perform as a guest.
Singer and founding member of the band Marian Gold has a very warm relationship with the Czech Republic and likes to return here regularly. "I live in Berlin, so I'm close to you. And I especially love Prague, it is full of mysticism and mystery. When I take children to Prague, I very much like to take them around and tell them legends about mysterious places, to which I will immediately take them," revealed the singer in one interview.
Marian Gold is also a great admirer of Karl Gott. 🎼 He has been listening to his songs since childhood. Therefore, when Karel Gott mentioned that he would like to translate the lyrics to the song "Forever Young" into Czech, Marian was very honored and immediately agreed.
“We are extremely proud to welcome the legendary group Alphaville to Foru Karlín. Their concert will be a unique opportunity to enjoy unforgettable hits that have defined several generations. Come and experience an evening full of nostalgia and great music with us," says Jiří Pikrt from the organizing agency Mafia Records.
📅 Lineup:
20:00 - 21:00 Ocean
