"A new testament usually replaces the old." So we can read it in the instructions for writing a will. This is not the case in the Bible, because the New Testament is full of texts in the Old Testament, i.e. the Hebrew Bible. Nevertheless, the reading persists that the old is overhauled by the new.
This believes that over 50 percent of Christian Bibellesers believe that according to a study by the Leipzig Institute for Practical Theology and Religious Sociology. So it is worth taking a closer look at the terms "old" and "new" with a view to the Bible. What does and what does the comparison of old and new bring and how is something new in the Old Testament yourself? Just think of the new BUND in Jeremiah 31, the new heaven and the new earth in Isaiah 65–66.
