𝓐𝓵𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓷𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓪 24 ~ Far East Network ~ Praed+Michaela Turcerová ~ Tittingur ~ Adéla Konečná

The final festival evening on Saturday, November 23 will bring a performance by the Far East Network project. The formation of the platform of musicians from the Far East (Ryu Hankil from South Korea, Yan Jun from China and Yun Chee Wai from Singapore) was initiated by the Japanese legendary experimenter Otomo Yoshihide; their joint sound is mainly based on Yoshihide's stretching of guitar chords into flat and dense sounds of digital and analog electronics.

The evening will be completed by the Lebanese-Swiss duo Praed (Raed Yassin and Paed Conca) with the addition of Michaela Turcerová, a Slovak saxophonist working in Denmark. The meeting, initiated especially for the Alternativa festival, will connect Turcer's minimalist improvisation and fondness for open forms with the colorful fusion of Arab popular music, contemporary electronics and free jazz that characterizes Praed's work.

In addition to those listed, the main festival weekend will feature Eryck Abecassis, a French-Algerian artist following the electronic avant-garde; the brilliant and versatile saxophonist and experimenter Georgy Bagdasarov; multimedia artist from the Olomouc collective Hlubina Adéla Konečná, author of the synťák project Orinoko; or Slovak power ambient duo Tittingur.
