About event
Every year, the Center for Culture of the Košice Region organizes the regional round of the national progression competition and exhibition of AMFO amateur photography.
AMFO is not just a competition, but one of its priorities is the support of the photography community as well as the opportunity for authors to present their work to the general public. Last but not least, it offers the possibility of education.
The culmination of the regional round of the nationwide competition of amateur photography will be the ceremonial opening of the exhibition, which will take place on April 20, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. in Výmenník at Štítová 3 in Košice.
Before the very opening of the exhibition, an analysis seminar will take place with members of the expert jury determined by the author. This will create a space for the exchange of experiences, the acquisition of new knowledge, but also an informal discussion about photography. The exhibition will be open to the public until May 7, 2026. The main partner and professional guarantor is the National Education Center in Bratislava.
We look forward to meeting you.
