At the beginning of the event, in the discussion entitled The unattainable need for housing, you will learn more about the consequences of neglecting the topic of housing across different levels of state and public reports on housing availability and the right to housing in general. The following will discuss: Michaela Ujházyová from the Slovak National Center for Human Rights, which published a research report on the availability of municipal rental housing, Ivana Balgová, who works in the organization Vagus and as a researcher participated in Amnesty International's research The unattainable need for housing Natália Šmídová, Amnesty International Slovakia researcher.
Subsequently, within the art block, you will be able to enjoy a burlesque show performed by @Ivinitty and @Error Fatale. You can enjoy hot punch during the @Alten Kompoten band's concert. @Čavalenky raps passionately about the rough street, foreclosures, drugs, racism and hopeless life situations.
Finally, DJ TRANSmisia will take care of your mood with her sets, bringing you a mix of post-club electronic music influenced by queer sound, soundcloud remixes and deconstructive sets.
In addition, you can try your luck in the irresistible Amnesty raffle, in which you can compete for interesting prizes.
Throughout the evening you will also be able to participate in our biggest petition event of the year: the Marathon writing letters. Among the program, you can sign our petitions or write letters to the authorities, write messages of solidarity to people facing injustice and get new (not only) human rights merch.
We look forward to seeing you!
Based on the Public Collection Act, the recommended entrance fee is €7. We will use the funds raised to finance human rights education programs, organize Living Libraries and advocate in cases of human rights violations.
