Amsterdam Light Festival

About event
Will you go paddle boarding on the Amsterdam canals during the Amsterdam Light Festival? Enjoy Amsterdam by night and the many art objects that were placed during this period. Artists from all over the world create the most unique light artworks for the Amsterdam Light Festival. This year marks the 13th edition of this festival and the 750th anniversary of the city of Amsterdam. Along the route you will be able to see various light artworks in/on/along the canals. Go out with the host. Do we see sights or are we the sight?
You will travel a route of approximately 9 kilometers under the guidance of the host. Halfway there is a short break during which the host hands out something tasty.
The host is:
· Tour guide
· First aid certified
· Photographer
· SUP landlord (on request)
Safety
This tour is NOT for beginners. You must be skilled with your SUP as we also encounter (a lot of) other boating traffic.
The route:
The route will be approximately 9 km long and you can do it at your own pace within the group. It is important that you are agile on your SUP board to enjoy the trip. Being able to suddenly turn or stop in front of a maneuvering boat is essential.
Lighting
Lighting on your SUP is mandatory. Make sure you can be clearly observed all around.
Times:
• 5:45 PM as the latest recommended time to arrive at the parking lot
• 6:15 PM gather at the boarding point for the briefing and ready for departure.
• 6:30 PM start of the tour
Be on time!!!
