ANA AYALA

Like every year, the festival welcomes in its official program the artist who has received the extraordinary end-of-year award from the Jazz and Modern Music department of the Conservatori Liceu. The Canarian Ana Ayala has been the last artist to receive this distinction, and therefore makes her debut at the festival as the leader of a sextet that performs her own music with influences from both jazz and classical music. To find a personal sound, explains the artist herself, the sextet uses mainly woodwind instruments: flute, clarinet and sax. In addition, the La Corrala choral company will also be added to the concert to put the cherry on top.
