About event

A person is not only alive with books. The lecture and book part is followed by the music part.
At Bike Jesus you can look forward to End Society, Noize Fucktory, Ctiba, Thalidomide, zagami Jericho and an endless rave performed by RAW RAVE feat DUST'N'ROAR.

END SOCIETY (post rock/ambient/lo-fi)
https://tlu-music.bandcamp.com/album/takes-vol-2
live: https://youtu.be/n7HJEusF9IU?si=O4iyZAsqdGgD7h8R

End Society is an audio-visual project focused on improvised ritual performances on the border between post-rock, dub, tribal, industrial and dirty electronics.
An inseparable part of their raw performances is a specific visual input that creates abstract, particle 3D forms, dynamically interacting with light and shadow. Born in real time, these ethereal objects move in harmony with the musical component, creating fluid, ever-changing and deeply responsive content.

NOIZE FUCKTORY (electro-punk)
https://www.instagram.com/noizefxcktory

A dark pink, queer, alternative music project founded in Prague by one chemicals on a smelly morning in autumn 2024.
Noize Fucktory's sound is based on a fusion of guitars, electronic beats and a strong visual expression, complemented by lyrics that are not afraid to name the shits of the world and the shits inside us. The instrumental ranges from psychedelic riffs and slower rhythms to hard techno beats and uncompromising roar of strings. A project that is not afraid to be ugly, beautiful, loud or honest.

CTIB (disco-punk)
https://ctib.bandcamp.com
live: https://youtu.be/acNIUJntq4Y?si=lJ5fozUePoaqha6b

Ctib has its roots in the DIY hardcore punk scene of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. He belonged to the group that organized concerts in the Vrah club, and he played or plays in bands spanning genres from hardcore to post-punk, previously in Telefon or Uštkni, today in Chorobopop.
He was also influenced by Czech pre-November folk, which was reflected in his early solo period, when he performed with an acoustic guitar as a folk-punk singer-songwriter. Gradually, however, he switched to electronic sound - he began to arrange drums, bass and synths on the computer, and finally the guitar.

THALIDOMIDE (80' hardcore/punk)
https://thalidomide.bandcamp.com
live: https://youtu.be/XXd8yoJbLJc?si=Wj59sxEW2OYj1Idq

Do you like - Black Flag? Dead Kennedys? SSD? D.O.A.? Hüsker Dü? Minor Threat? The Freeze? Nomeans or Minuteman? That's good, Thalidomide love them too and you can hear it enough.
The tireless anarchist and radical Kozel has been pulling this political hardcore/punk beast since 1993. An incredible amount of people have passed through the band in those 33 years, which makes sense - the important thing is the message, not the ego. For the last few years, this group has been operating in + - the same lineup. It is rumored that after the cult "black" record (2005) and "yellow" record (2010), Thalidomide is preparing a new album, from which we will hear a few samples at Bookfair!

ZAGAMI JERICHO (lo-fi electro live)
https://zagamiericho.bandcamp.com
live: https://youtu.be/WGU44jehDCE?si=9YeW2o-1d2klpTr3

Zagami Jericho is a musician, producer and singer moving between dance electronics and pop. In her work, she combines raw sound, dark club structures and personal statements with an emphasis on emotions, tension and the physical experience of music.
At the anarchist book fair she will be accompanied by her court DJ Litterbin and together they will bring a hypnotic and intense musical experience outside the usual genre boxes. Dancing shoes with you!

RAW RAVE feat DUST’N’ROAR (techno afterparty)
https://soundcloud.com/raw6tem
https://www.instagram.com/dust.n.roar

The Prague sound system Raw Rave is a group loosely based on 90's freetechno scene, the original UK rave party tradition and at the same time reflects current trends in the dance scene. In addition to organizing illegal rave interventions, he also organizes his own club nights. The emphasis placed on the political essence of free dance parties, especially in anti-authoritarianism and demarcation against any form of oppression, be it racism, homophobia, transphobia or sexism, cannot be overlooked. In their mixes there is a mixture of post-club music, industrial techno, trap but also gabber hardcore.

For this year's Bookfair Raw Rave they invited a great reinforcement - the Berlin collective Dust'N'Roar. This group is a strict DIY collective that organizes solidarity benefit events in Berlin and brings together great DJs and artists from different scenes and environments. Together they create unforgettable experiences across scenes, genres and borders!
