About event
This year, after a long time, the anarchist book festival will be a one-day event and will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in Prague's Štvanica, in the premises of the Bike Jesus and Fuchs2 clubs.
As is customary, publishers and distributors of anarchist literature will present themselves not only from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also from abroad. The festival is not just a sales presentation of books and literature. It is above all a meeting place where you can meet face to face not only small publishers and authors, but also various organizations, collectives and groupings from the wider circle of the anti-authoritarian movement. A place where you can meet real people and get to know organizations and collectives in a different way than from statements on websites, a place where you can establish new relationships and friendships, a place where you can agree on new projects and cooperation.
The bookfair will be followed by a music program at the Bike Jesus club.
