Anastasia Gulej survived the Holodomor in #Ukraine as a child, experienced relatives being deported to gulags, was deported to Germany as a forced laborer, later deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the death march and ultimately Bergen-Belsen. In 2022 she will flee again - to Germany. She now lives back in Kyiv.
On December 4th, from 7 p.m., she will be with us at the Nazi Forced Labor Documentation Center in Berlin for a contemporary witness interview - just a few days before her 100th birthday.
