About event
Katalin Vajda: Lovers of Ancona
- musical comedy -
(Lyrics: Péter Fábri)
The musical comedy Lovers of Ancona has gained the most and the most diversely performed comedy on domestic stages. It combines the best traditions of Italian fair comedies with traditional Hungarian humor and the best-known Italian hits of the 1970s. our main character: Don Tomao, lives the life of aging lovers among his speech-impaired daughter. The occasional tourist group of spectators comes here to get to know Giovanni, the confectioner who makes the worst coffee in the area, Agnes the guesthouse owner, Lucia the stuttering girl, and Viktoria, who arrived at the same time as us, who, as our compatriot, traveled so far to find her lost love and the father of her unborn child. . That would be enough of a complication, but new and new characters arrive according to schedule, a practicing alcoholic who is dealing with the grief of love, a traveling musician who can't stand the audience and a young girl dressed as a monk. And if the threads don't get mixed up enough on their own, Don Tomao will make sure that we have plenty to laugh about before the inevitable happy ending.
The lovers from Ancona are two hours of unclouded fun, with some conspiratorial winks and a touch of erotica. and plenty of humor sprinkled with nostalgia, i.e. the best cultural cocktail after a tiring day for refreshment.
