About event
The British band And Also The Trees was formed during the 'Post-Punk' era. They are known for their captivating live performances. With a surprisingly diverse musical career, they have continuously reinvented themselves, from post-punk to Americana, blues, jazz, contemporary classical music, wave and rock. For fans of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Cure and Tom Waits.
They have released 14 studio albums, drawing inspiration from their unusual rural origins and their tours of Europe, the US and Japan . 'Mother-of-pearl Moon', the new album, is a powerful work that started as a series of guitar improvisations. A voice, a clarinet, a piano, percussion, autoharp and Moog were added and the listener is taken on a journey from the depths of the English countryside. And Also The Trees will bring their unique sound and dynamic live shows to Cinetol in the fall.
