About event
ANDA MORTS
Twice is once
Entrance: 7:00 p.m. | Start: 8:00 p.m.
_______
After two completely sold out tours in 2024, the Linz parade punk Anda Morts has already confirmed an extensive tour for Germany and Austria this fall, only to now follow up with the announcement of his debut album and new dates for the coming year. There will be nine concerts in April and November 2026, and the album “ANS” (Austrian for “One”) will be released this year – on September 19th. It's about fascists, incels, highways, nicotine.
The way Anda catapults old punk formulas into the here and now with a pounding heart and an angry attitude on the album, the way he outlines reality with maximum urgency, has such a furiously rousing style that you immediately want more of it. Anda Morts is an excellent observer, with just a few lines he dissects subcultural and other scenes, relationships, the street, politics, society. He has mastered the art of going from seemingly small to large and has a deep, genuine tenderness and love for his characters.
