About event
Anderwelt (at)
Dark Ambient Metal, Post Metal from Linz.
Anderwelt was founded in Linz in 2013 and debuted in 2015 with the album "Schattenlichter". This publication showed the band's search for new and unexplored sounds-a demanding undertaking given the vastness of today's heavy metal music. With their newer works, including Trinity of Decay, an award-winning music short film and the breathtaking follow-up album 2084 (Electric Fire Records), it became clear that their search was successful. In 2084, recognition received recognition, with critics praised the band's masterful balance from "dystopian and extreme contradictions". Fast and atmospheric riffs, clean and distorted cello sounds and a dynamic bandwidth of clean and screaming vocals mix for a musical experience!
Now other world returns with their latest EP "Transanimalism". Building on the topics of 2084, the tracks are again dealing with dystopic, futuristic and social questions - this time with the idea of what could happen if superintelligent machines fall into the hands of endangered animals.
