About event
Unique document exclusively at Lucerna cinema, only three projections!
It exceeds genres and generations. In this intimate portrait, a renowned Italian tenor tells his story for the first time in his own words. Documentary filmmaker Cosima Spender follows Bocelli with unprecedented access even outside the reflectors and reveals an uncompromising artist and a devoted family man with a fearless passion for life. Although he lost his eyes at the age of twelve, he dedicated his life to music and after years spent in the piano bars, the legendary Lucian Pavarotti caught the attention of the legendary Lucian. Bocelli's life has changed dramatically thanks to the world hit "Time to Say Goodbye", an amazing duet with Sarah Brightman, who ejected him among the music superstars. He has performed on the world's most prestigious stages and with various singing partners such as Céline Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Dua Lipa. Through interviews, archival shots of performances and informal meetings with family and friends, Andrea Bocelli: Because and Believe celebrate the voice and man who still touches the hearts of millions of listeners around the world.
