About event
““Royal Spa Blues – Live From Temperance” by Andres Roots is a masterpiece of acoustic bottleneck blues. Andres Roots is a real discovery. Instrumental blues with slide guitar is so much fun.” - RockTimes.info
The Estonian slide guitarist Andres Roots returns to Germany with his new live album “Royal Spa Blues”. The album was recorded solo and acoustically in England last summer and reached No. 2 on the Blues Airplay charts in the UK and No. 15 in France following its release earlier this year.
The guitarist and songwriter, whose recordings have been played on five continents and who has performed from Shetland to Mississippi, has also composed music for theatre, film and television. His recent works have drawn comparisons not only to the heyday of Mississippi Delta blues, but also to Davy Graham, Leo Kottke, Ry Cooder and even the acoustic Led Zeppelin.
