Anežka Česká, světice a princezna

Participants will walk together in the gardens of St. Agnes Monastery, the most beautiful and peaceful gardens of the Old Town of Prague. They will hear a story about a woman depicted most often with a lily, a book or a halo, and learn about the first Czech hospital that originally stood in these places. It will then continue along the river to the Monastery of the Crusaders with a red star at the former Judith Bridge. Participants will hear the story of the order of knights, whose birth was precisely Anežka Česká, explain what the hospital brotherhood was, and learn many other interesting facts about the important patroness of all the poor, sick and suffering.
