About event
🎬 On the occasion of the 40th anniversary, we bring the cult anime ANGEL EGGS to Be2Can - now in a completely remastered 4K version! This is a unique chance to experience this melancholic and lyrical gem on the big screen - and no fan of Japanese animation should miss it.
👧 A mysterious girl wanders through a desolate landscape guarding a large egg. In a quiet town, he meets a pilgrim who wants to reveal its secret... The film enchants with magical visuals, poetic images and a chilling atmosphere.
🇯🇵 After the film, you can look forward to a masterclass by the popularizer of Japanese pop culture, Martin Šugár, who will focus not only on the analysis of the film itself, but also on the work of two key authors - the director Mamoru Oshii, but also the legendary creator of graphic designs Yoshitaka Aman.
