Os Anjos, one of the most successful Portuguese bands, celebrates 25 years of career on December 28th, in the largest venue in the country, the MEO Arena, in a unique concert that will bring together not one, but two symphonic bands on stage. With the Anjos, the Symphonic Band of the Republican National Guard and the Symphonic Band of the Public Security Police will be on stage together, in a group of more than 150 members, in what is said to be the largest production of its kind made in the national territory.
The celebration of the band's two and a half decades of career, entitled “Anjos 2.5”, will be marked not only by the imposing spectacle expected for this special night, but also by the initiative carried out by the duo, together with the GNR and PSP. All box office profits will be donated to the “Pact Against Violence”, which consists of a network of public and private entities that, together with the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG) mobilize to support the work of the structures from the National Support Network for Victims of Domestic Violence (RNAVVD).
The brother duo, Sérgio and Nelson Rosado, are preparing for December 28th a truly unique and unrepeatable show: a symphonic concert where they will perform all its great hits with arrangements by the prestigious Banda Sinfónica da GNR and Banda Sinfónica da PSP is a unique opportunity to witness a historic moment in Portuguese music and contribute to a cause of vital importance.
