Ankeny NWR

Visit Ankeny NWR with Julian Hwa & Erik Bergman. Ankeny NWR is home to thousands of geese during the winter, and there are also Acorn Woodpeckers. We will meet at the Park ‘N Ride to carpool at the Bridgeport Exit #290 at 7 a.m. Directions: south on I-5, take the Bridgeport Exit #290, then turn **right** (west), then turn left to the Park ‘N Ride. North on I-5, take Exit #290, turn **left** (west), and turn left again into the Park ‘N Ride. We will then form carpools to Ankeny. Please bring a lunch. Scopes would be helpful. Let me know if you need binoculars. We encourage carpooling, and will provide radios for communications and safety.
