About event
Sitra Achra & Anna HORTOVÁ
Slovak blues legend - the band Sitra Achra has been active on our club scene since 2006. They have performed at festivals at home and abroad and have 4 studio albums to their credit. Currently, the fifth "In the sign of six" with their own original compositions is being prepared.
They invited the singer Anna Hortová as a guest several times, who grew up listening to gospel and gradually devoted herself to jazz and soul and groove. For several years I gave concerts with my project Anna Hortova&friends together with Ľuboš Šrámek (piano), Tomáš Baroš (bass), Marián Ševčík (drums). She worked in Richard Muller's band as a vocalist for 3 years and today she sings with the Swing society orchestra or in the event project Tuzex band. From October 2023, he also performs with the band Sitra Achra.
In addition to blues legendary and original compositions, you can also look forward to soul hits from such legends of the genre as Aretha Franklin and Etta James.
