A bad day in a shared apartment
When even the courier brings only more pain, René Pollesch and Fabian Hinrichs listen again once to the beat of the sick heart of the present. Their latest collaboration deals in the ruins of a tabloid theater with the rupture of one's own Self in the civilizing process. Cry funny and laugh sad. An extraordinary evening.
Christian Rakow
S: (on the phone) So you went to the doctor? You didn't write me that. (...) Well, you have to go there, what are you doing? (...) And now where are you? (...) And were you at VZP? (...) So you're telling me you don't feel like going to the doctor right now, right? – (...) And until when does the surgeon prescribe, you know that, did you look? (...) Come on man, look (...) Thomas, Thomas, listen, look, can you hear me?
Look, I'll get home now sooner than I thought, I can be with you in an hour. I'll be at your place at 1:30 p.m., okay?
Then I'll see what time Ullrich is there, okay? You have to go there, I don't understand what - You now think that if you have a bandage on it, it's fine, but they told you that you absolutely have to go to surgery, that they have to cut your finger open. No, stop it, Thomas! Thomas! You go there now! Stop it, you're crazy, you're a nut! Stop the seizures, really!
You need to calm down now! You need to calm down! I'll be with you in an hour, okay? Yeah? can you hear I will be home at 1:30 p.m. Yeah? Good. Yes, ok, good. Okay, so far, okay?
