About event
As has become our anti-fascist custom, we will unite all fun and self-propelled means of transport and celebrate the day of victory over fascism by riding together again this year. On May 8, you can look forward to a ride through Bratislava, which we will end with a musical and cultural program in Cyklokuchyna.
The theme of the entire ride is to remember the crimes of the past, which we will not forget and will not allow to be repeated. The fact that we find fascists not only in our society but also in the board of directors of our state is unacceptable. It is therefore important that, in addition to the daily fight against fascism, you come to support this drive so that we can express ourselves as a group. So that the anti-fascist movement can be seen and heard.
So if you own a longboard, skateboard, skates, bicycle, or spaceship, come and ride it too. Some even rent a bicycle or scooter for the ride, just to be able to participate.
The route and the pace are adapted for everyone, including beginners. The procession will be accompanied by the police, who will direct the traffic. Please take care of your safety and use protective equipment such as protectors or a helmet if your riding level requires it. We will discuss all group safety instructions before the start of the ride.
Don't forget to prepare creative banners, flags, outfits so that we can make ourselves known.
We start at 5:30 pm on Kamenno Náměstí in Bratislava. Come a few minutes earlier so you don't miss anything.
Encouraging music will be played during the ride thanks to Cyklokuchyna, but the main music program will be waiting for us at their base on Tyršovo nábreží from 20:00.
