AnyLogic In-Person Training Course
Event by: AnyLogic Simulation Software
Location: Hotel Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa, Avenida da Liberdade 185, Lisboa
About event
The course will be delivered in English and will take place over three days (8 hours each, including lunch and coffee breaks).
This is a hands-on course, blending conceptual understanding and simulation development via a series of models we will construct from scratch. These aim to cover most of AnyLogic’s capabilities in a cumulative way and use the three main modeling paradigms that AnyLogic supports (agent-based modeling, system dynamics, and discrete-event simulation).
You will also have a chance to network with like-minded professionals and engage in discussions about innovative ideas and best practices. Certificates will be provided to those attending the course.
Day 1
- Introduction to AnyLogic multimethod simulation modeling — theory and demo
- Getting familiar with the AnyLogic model development environment — demo
- Discrete Event (Process-Centric) modeling — theory
- Call Center model — Discrete Event exercise
- Agent-Based modeling — theory
Day 2
- SIR Model — Agent-Based exercise
- Java basics for AnyLogic modelers — theory
- Supply Chain — GIS-based exercise
- Solar Panel Production Line — Material Handling Library exercise
Day 3
- Pedestrian modeling — theory
- Airport model — pedestrian model
- Optimizing traffic signals at Piazza del Colosseo, Rome — Road Traffic Library exercise
- (Optional) System Dynamics theory and Bass Diffusion exercise
- (Optional) Hump Yard — rail model
- (Optional) Oil Refinery Plant — Fluid Library & Rail Library
- Questions & Answers
