About event
We cordially invite you to the opening of Monika Vitánya called Aperi oculos, on Thursday 24.10. at 5:00 p.m. here in the museum.
Monika Vitánya's installations and paintings represent thought experiments depicted through artistic means. They are a reaction to the current schematized thinking, which reflects by correlating ready-made objects and nature in one installation. In the case of the painting, the author examines how the industrially processed structure of the substrate changes and defines the painting placed on it.
Transfer with us through melancholic images, from which out-of-focus figures emerge, think about where the boundary of what you are a person in pursuit of greed is willing to allow. Explore with us the ecological theme through canvas, textile and installation. https://www.instagram.com/p/DAwCnpCuVLN/
Text by the author: "In progress. Still working. Artworks concerning damaged trees. The 60-year-old linden trees in our village were cut down due to the decision of the power plant VSD, which wanted to rebuild its electrical lines. one tree had a trunk circumference of 250 cm."
Are you curious?
We look forward to seeing you.
