Actually already planned during pandemic times, the catch -up concert with
Ulrich Kleemann & Oliver Bostroem
When Ulrich Kleemann published his first EP at the Berlin Label Pool Music at the end of the 1990s, he still sings in English. But label boss Peter Schimmelpfennig lets him know: "Ulrich, you absolutely have to make German!" Pfennig knows what he is talking about. Finally, with his label, he brought the German-language pop and rock music of the GDR to the old Federal Republic. Kleemann takes Schimmelpfennig's words to heart and published his first German -texted album in 2004: Wolkenr.7
Sure, some studio work has been added: Sonne towards (2013), roller coaster through the time (2021), hour zero (2024). Then as now, Kleemann writes about life, death, love and, above all, trust in life! His texts go deep, but they always look ahead optimistically. The acoustic guitar, bluesy guitar papers, crispy grooves, spherical guitar sounds as well as space and time - this is the musical material that Kleemann's words are transported to acoustic worlds.
Live is supported by his long -time friend, the Berlin guitarist Oliver Bostroem. Oliver was already with two other projects at the Kunsthof.
The two get to know each other when Kleemann went looking for live musicians in 2004. Bostroem has already had a lot behind it: among other things, the customs officers, Ulla Meineke and IC Falkenberg. So now also Kleemann.
