More and more - were with us for the first time in 2023 and it was a party!
In advance, one other visitor thought: "Nu yes ... Instrumental music ... let's see ..."
Yes, hear, listen and be amazed ... So the first visit can be summarized with us and it was clear that these two boys have to come back. You again!
Matthias Ehrig (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, stomp box) and Andreas Uhlmann (trombone, flugelhorn, beatbox, synthesizer) are "more than we".
The band name is a promise. The two musicians create an unexpectedly full band sound via loop techniques and sought-after arrangements. Stylistically, Matthias and Andreas realize a mix of pop, jazz, EDM and acoustic world music.
Despite various detours into the seriousness of life, the music of the band simply makes fun. The pieces are full of twists and surprises. Like pictures on photo paper in a dark chamber, their songs develop - to stay.
"More than we" do instrumental music. Not without telling the pieces - partly opulent - stories and acoustic at their concerts and, as we already know, they got to know each other very entertaining!
, the two of them gathered in the music study in Dresden and then immediately in various formations, among other things in a band that also called themselves "Red Five" and in which a certain "Christoph Schenker" played ... well ... the bell rings ??? - Have a look at the appointment 07.09.2025!
After completing their studies, however, they first went their own ways, but fortunately they crossed again and since then they have been more than we did. A. Matthes
