**LIVE IN CONCERT: Manuel Schmid & Marek Arnold**
Manuel Schmid, singer of the cult band STERN-COMBO MEISSEN and a friend of the KunstHofKöpenick, has already been a guest with Wolfgang Martin twice.
This time He brings the internationally renowned progressive rock musician Marek Arnold with him - together they create an extraordinary concert program and ensure a worthy end to the season!
The focus is on masterfully interpreted Eastern rock classics from the 70s - from KARAT to LIFT to HOLGER BIEGE - which Schmid has reinvigorated with great authenticity and his own signature.
It is complemented the program with their own compositions that combine the musical DNA of Eastern rock with modern elements. Marek Arnold, known from numerous international projects and as a producer, brings in his multi-layered arrangements and, with Schmid, creates a fascinating symbiosis of pop, rock, jazz and classical.
A must for fans of German music history and contemporary art rock
**Manuel Schmid** has been the singer and keyboardist with STERN-COMBO since 2012 MEISSEN and has been active as a solo artist since 2000. His albums “Leben” and “Soulparadies” (2016) received great recognition, the latter with support from well-known musicians and successful radio releases. With his program “Songs from a Time Long Bygone” he has been reinterpreting rare Eastern rock classics for years.
**Marek Arnold** is a saxophonist, keyboardist and producer with great experience in the international progressive rock scene. He was a member of STERN-COMBO MEISSEN and is active in numerous bands and projects. With over 50 CD releases and as a sought-after guest musician, he combines technical finesse with creative diversity.
