Presentation of the book "Versos Livres" in Lisbon
Event by: Miguel Barreto Henriques, Ondina Pires
Location: Municipal Library of St. Lazarus, Rua do Saco 1, Lisboa
About event
After "Vã Guarda: Unauthorized Autobiography" and "El pie derecho de Maradona", Miguel Barreto Henriques returns with "Versos Livres".
Presentation by musician and writer Ondina Pires (Great Lesbian Show, Pop dell 'Art).
Synopsis:
"From politics to domestic cats, from cruelty to utopia, Miguel Barreto Henriques can transform any subject into poetry.
Always irreverent in his portraits, the author uses words to construct visual ideas that reveal an extraordinary capacity for observation and an imagination that is at once sagacious, romantic and witty.
The poems in this book are a reflection of the distant and winding paths that the human mind can travel when driven just for a few cleverly strung together words."
