Synopsis
In Lisbon, there was nothing else being talked about at the end of spring 1874: the bush knife, meticulously crafted in silver worthy of a king, commissioned by D. Fernando II, but which he, after all, gave up on buying. Rafael Zacarias da Costa, the craftsman of that masterpiece, had dedicated eleven years of his life to it, endless nights of nightmares, he was almost blind, but the story of that hunting dagger was far from over.
Insured by the Fidelidade Insurance Company, she was to head towards England, sink off the coast of Brittany and be the target of a difficult rescue operation. She was admired in Paris and Rio de Janeiro, in Lisbon and Porto. And, almost a century and a half later, he would not escape the greed and conspiracy of an antiques dealer, in fact, a treasure hunter.
This is the fictional story of a Portuguese goldsmith's jewel from the 19th century. XIX, a treasure that Fidelidade has kept for 148 years, historical testimony of the oldest Portuguese insurance company in activity.
