Aqua Flame / workshop 16 +

At the workshop with contemporary visual artist Andrea Čepiššáková, we will connect free wandering with colors, painting and flamenco. Come and enjoy the pleasant pre-summer atmosphere in the garden of Villa Dominik Skutecký - with art and a touch of exotic distances. As the artist Andrea Čepiššáková invites, "it will not be about what we take with us, but about allowing our inner strength to flow, without inhibitions and without a goal. Like in flamenco, where it is enough to let water and fire create. Our goal will be a journey like a dance." author's symbolism and emotional coloring of the works. She is also an exhibiting author at the exhibition Horím, potom tíchnem..., in which she connects her own world with the world of Dominik Skutecký (1849 – 1921). Two periods, two stories and two different perspectives, different and yet somewhat related. The idea of the exhibition follows Skutecký, who worked in Italy (Venice, Florence) and in Banská Bystrica. The author moves between Slovakia and Mallorca, Spain, where she regularly creates. The tension and harmony between the remote, sunny, exotic and mundane, everyday, safe environment is reflected in her work for a long time and is also found in the themes and approach to work of Dominik Skutecký.

In addition to creating, however, you can also stay with us for a well-deserved relaxation. As of noon, we officially open the picnic season and our city garden will belong to all visitors. This part of the program is completely free and without any fees. Just bring a blanket, spread out in the shade of the trees and enjoy a free afternoon. Come to us to clear your head and enjoy the weekend with your family exactly as it suits you.

The workshop is suitable for everyone from the age of 16, including complete beginners, and is intended for a group of 10-15 people. We will be happy to prepare a parallel program for your children as well.
