About event
Arabesk is a Turkish music genre loved and hated, humiliated in its own country and even forbidden for a while.
an expression of experiences of exclusion and nowhere associated, an anti-culture according to the elite. And yet: a popular folk culture, the Turkish blues and the smartlap.
It is kitsch, melancholic, sentimental, great sorrow and at the same time full of humor. And the music that ensures that you go completely loose!
Experience a musical adventure with the choir of Reart Collective and with Aysegül Karaca as a storyteller.
Meet & Feel
We offer Meet & Feel especially for people with a visual impairment. Prior to the performance, an introduction will be in the decor. Ayşegül Karaca and the actor (s) or director give a picture of what will be visual to see. You get the chance to touch parts of the decor and props. As a visually limited person, you can therefore imagine the theater experience. To do this, click on the Meet & Feel option when paying. NB! Be present 1 hour prior to the performance. The Meet & Feel is from 2: 00-15: 00.
Arabesk is a co-production of Reart Collective and Theater Rast.
